First, excessive Stomach Fire leads to a yellow tongue. TCM believes that a yellow tongue coating mostly indicates interior syndromes and heat syndromes; the yellower the coating, the more severe the internal heat. In holographic tongue diagnosis, the surface of the tongue corresponds to the Stomach. When there is fire in the Stomach, the fire energy steams upward toward the tongue surface, causing it to turn yellow. Simultaneously, one may feel heat in the stomach and frequently experience symptoms such as dry mouth and throat, thirst with a desire to drink, halitosis (bad breath), and dry stools. In such cases, it is necessary to clear Stomach Fire; Huanglian Qingwei Wan can be considered for regulation.

Next, excessive Liver Fire leads to yellow sweat. People in this category often leave yellow sweat stains on the clothes they wear and the sheets they sleep on. This occurs because the Liver Meridian of the human body starts from the toes, travels up the thighs, passes through the groin, moves upward along both sides of the chest and hypochondrium, passes through the axilla (armpit), and circulates to the head. Therefore, individuals with excessive Liver Fire typically exhibit noticeable yellow sweat stains under the armpits. In daily life, they are prone to irritability, anger, distending pain in the head, aching in the hypochondriac regions, dry mouth, and a bitter taste. This type of "fire" is generally caused by Damp-Heat in the Liver and Gallbladder; Longdan Xiegan Wan can be considered for regulation.

Finally, excessive Heart Fire leads to yellow urine. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) posits that the Small Intestine separates the body's fluids into "clear" and "turbid" components; the clear is reabsorbed, while the turbid is transformed into urine for excretion. Furthermore, the Heart and Small Intestine share an interior-exterior relationship. If Heart Fire is hyperactive, the "fire qi" steams the Small Intestine downward, resulting in yellow urine during urination accompanied by a burning sensation in the urethra. Patients may also present with a red tongue tip (often progressing to yellow coating), and in severe cases, tongue ulcers, insomnia, or difficulty falling asleep. In such instances, it is necessary to clear and drain Heart Fire; one may consider Daochi Wan or steeping Lophatherum gracile (淡竹叶) in water as a remedy.

However, please be reminded that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) medication requires professional adjustment; if you have any concerns, please consult a professional physician for timely diagnosis and treatment.
