As the saying goes, "one drop of essence equals ten drops of blood." I believe the importance of a man's kidney essence is self-evident. If kidney essence is severely depleted, it damages not only the liver but also the spleen. Why does kidney essence deficiency harm the liver? Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) believes that the liver and kidney share the same source. When kidney essence is deficient, it "borrows" Qi and blood from the liver. At this point, the liver's Qi and blood become insufficient, easily leading to Qi stagnation and blood stasis. Why does it also harm the spleen and stomach? The spleen and stomach are the "officials in charge of the granary." Once kidney essence is depleted, it also "borrows" the essence of nutrients from the spleen.

Today, I will share two simple methods with you. The first is to massage the Lower Dantian acupoint. This point is located below the navel and is the dwelling place of kidney essence. Regularly massaging the Lower Dantian can warm and preserve essence, preventing kidney essence from leaking out.

Second is to nourish the essence and practice moderation in desire. This is the most critical approach—storing essence in the kidneys is like having a reservoir for the human body. When the reservoir is full, the surrounding ecosystem naturally flourishes; the same principle applies to humans.

A reminder to everyone: no matter how effective a method may be, do not become overly dependent on it, as it only serves a supportive role. If you are feeling unwell, please seek treatment and conditioning from a professional doctor in a timely manner.
