Past 40, Liver and Kidney Decline: Failing to Replenish Them Leads to Suffering in Old Age
Once a person passes the age of 40, the liver and kidneys begin to age. The liver governs the tendons and the kidneys govern the bones; if the liver and kidneys are weak, your waist, legs, tendons, and bones will suffer. Today, I will teach you several formulas to replenish both the liver and kidneys, keeping you hale and hearty in your later years.
The first is the Zi Gan Bu Shen Pill (Liver-Nourishing and Kidney-Tonifying Pill). It can nourish the liver and kidneys, enrich the blood, and soothe the liver. If you frequently experience dizziness, palpitations, occasional rapid heartbeat, restless sleep at night with excessive dreaming, often accompanied by lower back and leg pain or a bitter taste in the mouth, you may consider using this.
The second is Qiju Dihuang Wan, which nourishes the kidneys and liver. If, in addition to symptoms like lower back soreness, fatigue, dizziness, tinnitus, dry or sore throat, and night sweats, you also experience dry eyes, blurred vision, or increased bloodshot eyes, you may consider this.
The third is Duhuo Jisheng Wan, which nourishes the blood, softens the liver, and tonifies both the liver and kidneys. If you frequently suffer from pain in your lower back, legs, or knees, find it difficult to stand up after squatting for a short while, or experience particularly uncomfortable knee pain on rainy days, you can refer to this to nourish the liver and kidneys and strengthen the bones and tendons.
A reminder to everyone: Traditional Chinese Medicine requires syndrome differentiation. If needed, please consult a professional physician for timely diagnosis, treatment, and conditioning.
