Many people experience symptoms such as lower back soreness, leg pain, frequent or urgent urination, insomnia, and excessive dreaming at a young age. They feel listless all day, constantly lacking strength, experiencing a decline in interest, and feeling a general sense of deficiency throughout the body. From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this may be caused by an insufficiency of Kidney Essence. The Kidney is the "foundation of innate constitution," and the essential substances within it nourish the entire body, keeping it full of vitality. However, with aging and irregular lifestyle habits, Kidney Essence is easily depleted, leading to various deficiency syndromes. Today, I will introduce a thousand-year-old ancient formula that not only replenishes Kidney deficiency but also generates essence, nourishes marrow, and strengthens sinews and bones. This ancient formula is Busui Dan (Marrow-Supplementing Pill).

It is composed of Psoralea corylifolia (Buguzhi), Eucommia ulmoides (Duzhong), Deer Antler Velvet (Lurong), and Myrrh (Moyao). Among them, Psoralea corylifolia warms and tonifies Kidney Yang, dispels cold, supplements deficiency, strengthens the bones, and generates essence to fill the marrow. Eucommia ulmoides tonifies the Liver and Kidneys and strengthens sinews and bones; since the Liver governs the sinews and the Kidneys govern the bones, feeling persistent pain in the joints or restricted movement is generally caused by Liver and Kidney insufficiency and a lack of nourishment to the musculoskeletal system. Deer Antler Velvet powerfully tonifies Original Yang (Yuan Yang), supplements essence and blood, and strengthens sinews and bones, offering excellent therapeutic effects for Kidney Yang deficiency and Kidney Essence depletion. Myrrh promotes the circulation of Qi and blood, dissipates stasis, and relieves pain; as the saying goes, "where there is obstruction, there is pain," so only when Qi and blood flow unimpeded can they better nourish the entire skeletal structure and limbs.

Traditional Chinese Medicine emphasizes personalized treatment; specific dosages must be prescribed based on an individual's syndrome differentiation. Do not self-medicate blindly.
